Report: Deripaska’s En+ unit offers rent for land site for mining
MOSCOW, Aug 3 (PRIME) -- Russian power utility Irkutskenergo, controlled by tycoon Oleg Deripaska’s En+ Group, has announced an auction for a land site suiting a power-consuming business centers of data processing and mining, business daily Vedomosti reported on Friday, citing a statement of Irkutskenergo.
The land site of 21,800 square meters is located in the city of Irkutsk, in the eastern Siberia, and Irkutskenergo ensures cables with a capacity of 14.8 megawatts (MW) up to the area’s border, and the leaseholder will launch network equipment themselves.
The land is offered for a five-year rent with possible prolongation. A month of rent costs at least 277,000 rubles, and the first five months cost the reduced 207,600 rubles.
The lowest possible tariff of electric power in 2018 will be 2.16 rubles per kilowatt-hours (kWh).
